We had a great boost from the Gulf Stream, at times doing over 10 knots over the ground, enjoying fairly flat seas and SW wind between 11 and 20 knots. In the end, we reached the GS with just enough time to cross it before the N-NE winds kicked in after the forecasted cold front passed. We are now on course for the Chesapeake but it will be a bumpy ride for the next 8+ hours until we pass the bridge-tunnel…. winds are forecast to gust up to 30 knots so both sails are doubly reefed.

We may not stop in Little Creek, depending on how we feel at the time and whether or not the US CBP will clear us back into the country without having to see us or the boat. We may proceed directly up the bay to Worton Creek.
