We are progressing nicely, at least we think so but we don’t have the benefit of being able to see our position relative to the rest of the fleet. We are now on starboard tack and have been close to another (British) boat, Domini since the beginning. It’s nice to be able to communicate and compare strategies.

Chris Parker has advised us to be SE of a line extending from a point maybe 100 nm S of Bermuda and in a SW direction by Tuesday morning to avoid the low that is forecasted to extend from Bermuda to the US East Coast. We are well on track to achieve this and so should be able to enjoy some good sailing, hopefully being able to make more progress in a SE direction. We did have a concern about our house batteries but have cleaned up the battery terminals and they seem to be performing better. At least the wind generator is contributing positively (~5 Amps or so) as well as the solar panels.
