imageI thought you would all like to know that so far, our freshly imported tea supply from the home country is holding up well. We’re still not half-way though, so things could change but at this stage, things are looking good in this department; maybe the fact that our crew is not such an avid tea-drinker as our previous crew members helps, though we are perhaps working on that (as well as teaching him ‘proper’ English)….

I’m also pleased to report that our house batteries, though perhaps not in prime condition, seem to be holding up in between charges. We just have to run the engine while trying to send emails using the SSB radio. AND our wind speed and direction and water speed indicators have all decided to work the way they should. So, life is good and we are more-or-less heading in the right direction!! The only down side is that we managed to leave two portlights open when we shouldn’t have so one wave succeeded in soaking the clean sheets I had just put on our bed and mats etc. in the main cabin…. Lesson learned.
