In between our tasks, such as setting up an improved system for our preventer lines to avoid accidental gibes when in a sea, familiarizing ourselves with the Salty Dawg weather forecasting system (using Chris Parker) daily check-in via SSB and making sure they have links to our tracking system, we have explored some more of the Bitter End. The photo of the two of us was taken while hiking the Guy Trail with Eustacia (owned by Google) and Necker (owned by Richard Branson) Islands behind. I think you can understand why it is a playground for the rich and famous … as well as us. Unfortunately we block out Saba Rock. Our knowledge of the BEYC was then tested yesterday when we participated in a scavenger hunt for Salty Dawgs. We had to identify where in the resort various (tiny) photos had been taken … Fun but challenging! Results will be announced at the farewell dinner tomorrow night but I don’t expect our apprehension comes close to that of Scott or Sonia when they awaiting/ed test results.

The other photo is for Karen’s benefit, to show a little of our new stack pack … Maybe I’ll get a better photo another day.

Tonight it is a dinghy drift. We basically all meet up in our dinghys with appetizers and drinks, raft together and drift around the bay until darkness starts to fall…. Sounds like more fun. We leave BEYC on Tuesday for our last few days in Nanny Cay prior to our departure on Friday or Saturday. The current plan is to go to Culebra SVI, Fajardo PR, PuertoPlata DR, Mayaguana, Bahamas, possibly Turks and Caicos, San Salvadore, Eleuthera, West End, then Fort Pierce FL.
